WorkSafeBC Authorized Asbestos Abatement Training Agency
1 Asbestos Academy holds formal authorization from WorkSafeBC to deliver asbestos abatement training and administer WorkSafeBC certification examinations. WorkSafeBC issues certification directly to workers upon passing. We deliver the training and proctor the exams.
WorkSafeBC Exam Administration
We are authorized to proctor WorkSafeBC certification examinations for Levels 1, 2, 3, and S. Pass and fail outcomes are determined by WorkSafeBC based on standardized materials and answer keys. We administer the process. WorkSafeBC issues the result.
In-Person Delivery
All training is delivered in person at our Victoria and Surrey locations. Exams can be written online via Zoom. Private group bookings are available at your location anywhere in BC.
Province-Wide Coverage
We travel to job sites and facilities anywhere in British Columbia for onsite training. From Vancouver Island to the Interior, we build the quote around your location so your crew trains where the work is.
Certification for asbestos training programs is issued by WorkSafeBC. 1 Asbestos Academy delivers training and administers examinations in accordance with WorkSafeBC requirements. All pass and fail outcomes are determined by WorkSafeBC based on standardized examination materials and answer keys. 1 Asbestos Academy does not independently determine certification outcomes.

All asbestos programs lead to WorkSafeBC certification. Lead abatement training is a competency-based program built to WorkSafeBC OHS standards.

We run scheduled training seven days a week. For contractors outside the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, we deliver training onsite at your location anywhere in BC.
Travel costs are built into the quote. There are no hidden charges. If the job is in Prince George, Fort St. John, or anywhere else in the province, we build a quote that works.
